Military Academy Nominations

Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Service Academies.

Students interested in attending a U.S. Service Academy must have a nomination from an authorized nominating source. As your Member of Congress, Rep. Dave Trott is authorized to nominate candidates who live within the Eleventh Congressional District.

Below you will find information and an application packet which contains all of the information you will need to apply for a nomination. If you or anyone in your family are interested in applying, please contact our District Office at 248-528-0711. 

Applicants for nominations must be:

  • Be a citizen of the United States by the time you enter a military academy and be a legal resident of Michigan’s Eleventh Congressional District.
  • Be 17-years-old, but not yet past one’s 23rd birthday, on July 1st of the year one enters a military academy.
  • Be unmarried, not pregnant, and have no legal obligation to support children or other dependents.
