Trott Supports Bipartisan "Break the Gridlock" Effort
WASHINGTON, DC: Today, U.S. Representative Dave Trott (MI-11) issued the following statement after the Problem Solvers Caucus introduced the Break the Gridlock agenda, a package of reforms to make the house work again for the American people:
"Since coming to Congress, I have always advocated for bipartisan, commonsense solutions. The package of changes to the House Rules that the Problem Solvers Caucus introduced today will propose openness and transparency, encourage bipartisan efforts, create constructive debate on certain issues, and empower our lawmakers to find real solutions to the issues we face today. We must work together in order to deliver real results for the hardworking men and women across America." said Rep. Trott
The Problem Solvers Caucus is a bipartisan group of 48 House members, which promotes bipartisan initiatives and legislation. Rep. Trott has been a member of the caucus since 2017. To learn more about the proposed reforms in this package of rules, follow this link.
