Congressman Dave Trott

Representing the 11th District of Michigan

Approved: JOBS Act 3.0 Passes in the House

July 17, 2018
Press Release

WASHINGTON, DC: Today, U.S. Representative Dave Trott (MI-11) issued the following statement after the House unanimously passed the JOBS and Investor Confidence Act of 2018 by a vote of 406-4:

"This package of bills is comprised of 32 individual pieces of legislation that has now passed in the House with broad bipartisan support. I am proud to have supported this legislation because small businesses make up 99% of all enterprises and employ almost half of our American workforce, and we must reform our capital markets. This bill does just that by stimulating investment through reducing regulatory burdens on angel investors and encouraging entrepreneurship in the ever-changing 21st century economy. I commend the members in the Financial Services Committee for their work on this package of bills and I am hopeful that my colleagues in the Senate will pass this bill soon so that we can send it to the President's desk." said Rep. Trott

Rep. Dave Trott has been a member of the House Financial Services Committee since the start of the 115th Congress.
